The Wild Rose PTO works hard to provide programs and events throughout the school year that improve the education, health and well-being of our students in addition to increasing family engagement.
We are always looking for new volunteers to help with our programs. If you are interested in helping, please email Heather Siegendorf , Wild Rose Vice President at email@example.com.
After School Enrichment
The ASE program takes place during the month of February immediately after school until 4:10pm, and provides students an opportunity to explore new skills. Popular classes include face painting, soccer, martial arts, pet care and spa day. Information will be sent home in December.
Bingo nights are held in conjunction with book fairs. This fun family event features our very own Wild Rose teachers as bingo callers and card checkers! Bingo cards and concessions are sold at the event.
Kids love book fairs, and they provide an awesome opportunity to buy books for your home library while supporting Wild Rose, too!
DPTO (District Parent Teacher Organization)
A Wild Rose PTO representative attends district PTO meetings where they will learn what is going on with PTO's throughout the district, best PTO practices, and other pertinent D303 information.
We love our PTO volunteers who help with keeping the exterior grounds of Wild Rose looking beautiful! This important job includes weeding, trimming, and planting/tending to seasonal containers/decor.
To show our teachers and staff how much we appreciate them, the PTO provides lunches/snacks/gifts around parent teacher conference times.
By simply dining in or carrying out from local, participating restaurants, families can help raise funds for the Wild Rose PTO. It's easy, and gives you an excuse to NOT cook!
Wild Rose spirit wear sales include sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats, and more! The spirit wear team will have items for direct purchase at School Supply Drop Off Night as well as Back to School Night. After that, be on the lookout for other sales throughout the year featuring NEW ITEMS....a flyer will come home in backpack mail.
This hardworking PTO representative takes and organizes photos throughout the year, works on the yearbook layout and executes the sales of the yearbook. Yearbook sales start in the spring. Please forward any photos you'd like to have considered for the yearbook to firstname.lastname@example.org
